Our Farm
We have had American British White Park Cattle sense 2004. We enjoy caring for and raising beautiful and friendly cows. We enjoy taking them to local shows such as Otsego County Fair, New York State Fair, and Keystone International Livestock Expo. Our Cattle are part of our Family.
We have had Bernese Mountain Dogs sense 2014. We have had over 5 litters of beautiful puppies. We pride ourselves on raising healthy and friendly, family dogs.
We have had our golden retriever female sense 2018. We had our first litter of Golden Retriever Puppies in November of 2021. We raise puppies to make great dogs that will be a member of other families.
We have four main members that work and care for our family of animals. We thank God every day for giving us this strong family unit and wonderful animals. As much work as having animals can be it also is very rewarding and a great stress reliever.
Larry and Julia are mom and dad to the farm. Then there is Sarah and Tracy; they were raised with the farm and animals, and now are an active part in running the farm.
Larry does a lot of the manual labor, equipment work, and trucking our animals to and from shows. Larry is super supportive toward his family and the farm. He is active in caring for the animals and our family. When Larry is not helping at the farm he is running the custom meats and retail store at the end of our driveway. Larry has been a butcher for years. We could not do everything we do without him. He teaches us girls what hard work is and how to have a work ethic.
Julia was born and raised with animals. She grew up in 4-H showing multiple species and mostly horses. Julia made sure to raise her daughters with animals. Teaching them the responsibility of having animals and having a work ethic. She is an active memver of the farm working hand and hand to care for the animals. She is the assistant in getting the cows ready for the show. Very active in the caring for the animals. Julia's neighbor raised Bernese Mountain dogs when she was a child and she has dreamed of having them. She got her first Bernese, Gretta and started our family. When she is not busy with the farm she is a Math Teacher at Sidney High School.
Sarah found and fell in love with our original cow, Patches. Sarah works very hard with her animals and cares for them. She works with others on halter breaking the cows and caring for them. She enjoys getting the cows clipped for the show and runs the shows. She could not do any of it without her family. Sarah is an active part in caring for the puppies and giving them a lot of attention. She works hard to raise friendly and beautiful puppies and cows. Sarah is working hard in growing the farm and taking over a lot of the business side of it as well. When she is not busy with the farm she is a Registered Nurse.
Tracy, along with Sarah has grown up caring for animals and the farm. At this time we do not have any pigs, however, we did in the past and hope to in the future. Tracy enjoys pigs a lot and dreams of having a pig farm. Tracy is wonderful at caring for the animals and being their to play with them. We call her the fun Aunt. She loves and enjoys the farm. She is also strong and is great at manual labor and heavy lifting. When Tracy is not busy at the farm she is also a Math Teacher at GMU School.
We could not do any of it without God by our side and help from family and friends..
